OpenInTexEdit CM Plug-in
What is this?
This plug-in adds a couple of useful commands to your contextual menus. ╥Copy to Tex-Edit╙ copies the current text selection into a new Tex-Edit window, launching Tex-Edit if necessary. ╥Open Document(s) in Tex-Edit╙ will open the selected documents using Tex-Edit, even if they are not Tex-Edit documents. MacOS 8.x is required.
What are contextual menus?
Contextual menus are a great new feature of MacOS 8.x. Pressing the Control key (or the right button of a two-button mouse) while clicking on an icon or document window displays a pop-up menu full of convenient shortcuts. [Note to Mr. Jobs: multi-button mice, please!]
How do I install this plug-in?
Move this plug-in to the ╥Contextual Menu Items╙ folder inside your System folder and restart. (Of course, you can also just drop the plug-in onto your closed System folder and the plug-in will automatically go where it belongs. Aren╒t Macs great?)
